I can access the FTP server but I still can't access my site, also, when I do try to access my files in net2ftp, I get an error message stating that my files could not be copied over from the FTP server. Is there a way to remedy this problem?

thanks alex melen. I can now log in properly. But the folder is empty. does this mean we'll have to create the webpages again or will the data be recovered. Also i can't create any .html pages it gives an error:

sensation87 - I just fixed that issue. You should be able to do what you were trying to do now. If you can't please reply again.

jagasker - I can view parts of your page but your index page is redirecting everyone to a page that does not exist. Looking at it, none of the files that you are redirecting to based on browser type exist. However your site is working because I can visit this link http://jtweather.t35.com/screenID001.jpg

Thanks for your reply i am getting the following error:

thankyou for your time and help.

Please try now. Sorry for the up/down-ness over the last 2-3 minutes. Had to restart a few services a few times to get things working properly. Everything seems to be working right now. I've successfully uploaded a file (I thought you were having a problem editing files, which I fixed before last update). Uploading and editing should be fixed now. Please let us know if you come across any other issues and we will have them fixed ASAP.

We're still working to recover as much data as we can. We had a raid card die out on us and it died out in such a way that many, many sectors were destroyed on the disks. We have replaced the hardware and are still working with the old drives to the best of our ability to get back as much data as we possibly can. If we can't get much more off of the drives we may send them off to a data retrieval facility to see if they can get any more data off of the drives. Any further information that comes out of this process will be posted under this thread. I know that this hasn't been pleasant for you as the users, but at the same time it hasn't been pleasant for us having about 36 hours of down time this month. Again we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
