Question about linking a domain

I'm considering to link a domain name I bought with my free hosting account.

I have only one question: if I change my registrar's DNS servers with your ones, will I be able to manage subdomains, mail, etc.? This is not explained in the FAQ.

No, DNS management is only avaliable on paid hosting.
