OK i am trying to install VBulletin on my site with hotsql or whatever.  The file vbulletin-language.xml  is 1.2mb big and zipped its around 194kb.  I tried using smart ftp to upload it, but it would time out.  So i tried to up it with the net2ftp program you guys use with no success.  Any other way to get it up so I can finish the installation?

Well what you can do is unzip it and upload the file one by one.

I have tried uploading it one by one and for some reason smartftp stops uploading at around 114kb and then slowly goes at around 3kb/s and after around 30/s it times out.

STOR vbulletin-style.xml
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for vbulletin-style.xml
    Connection closed. Server timeout

and then for vbulletin-language.xml i get

STOR vbulletin-language.xml
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for vbulletin-language.xml
A non-blocking socket operation could not be completed immediately.
426 Transfer aborted. Operation not permitted

I also just rembered in net2ftp it says that php uploads can be up to 2mb.  How do i do php uploads?

Aim me with any help at  holymaceraltaco

The file size limit is 250kb.. and i am having no problems uploading files up to 248kb. I tried from 4 differnet locations (4 seperate ISP's). Are you sure you don't have any settings on your computer or ISP that are causing problems? Also, are you sure the file is that small? Keep in mind windows shows "size" and "size on disk" both of which are different.
