Yea, i'm new.  I have a nice lil website that i've been building for a week now.  I made a nice menu, with javascript commands telling links to go to IFRAMES and all that.  My only problem is that half my images won't work!  I don't know why, but i'd like that to be fixed...!

Ehh hmm...had this problem along time ago with someone else. Can't seem to remember the solution for it.

Could it be inside your javascript or are you naming the files wrong or linking them incorrectly?

From what it looks like, the files are not on ther server, or where you linked them to be... all the images seem to be linked into your main folder make sure they are uploaded, like gta2.gif, welcome2.gif... typed the same way. i dont know if i was help but i am sure amelen can help more

Well that's the thing.  EVERYTHING in the code is good.  I have the files and i can run it no problem on my computer.  It's the online site that is all screwed up.

Did the files upload; they are not where you say they should be. I can’t even pull them up directly. Make sure the files uploaded in the main folder, I wouldn’t believe that they are bigger than the limit

Be sure you have the extentions, that they are the right extentions, that they are the same case, and that the files actually uploaded.

Also make sure they are uploaded in the correct format, such as ASCII or Binary.  cool

I have the same problem with my site. Some thumbnails load, some won't. Some fullsize images will load some will not. i've checked and rechecked my html code, it is fine. I've even reuploaded all my images again, nothing.

Actually, i figured this out just today...the T35 server seems to be case-sensitive, even if HTML isn't...

My site was initially built with .GIF images and i had the links with .gif

Now, it's pretty simple, PUT THE SAME CASE EVERYWHERE!! lol

Thanks for your replies, have a good day.

The case has nothing to do with HTML. It's not HTML that does case it's the operating system that the server runs. Linux is case sensitive, Windows is not. It all depends on the server environment.

 dedman what is your URL?

m4studios.t35.com

the only section that SHOULD be working is for photomanipulations, but most of the galleries there have problems loading the thumbnails. And as i said if uploaded to a mirror location, exact same files in the exact same directory structure and the site works fine

It looks to me like you may be the victim of too long of load time. The server seems to be reaching its timeout before your page fully loads so your getting a bunch of images that can't be displayed.
