okay you have alot of problems. First things first, delete your account and sign up again. You are not allowed to have capitals in your name as it was said on the sign up page.

You should be able to login and upload, I am able to see your account but you have not placed any files on the site, please re-upload your files.

also where are you from?

Can I bootstrap my problems here too Smiley

I also am using Dreamweaver 8 and I uploaded my files. I see them there but when I click on the directory tree icon I get a big fat error telling me I need to log in. I log in (again) and still when I try to view my site live I get the 404 error. I'm sure there's a very basic step I'm missing and I've combed through the Dreamweaver/t35 help pages. I think there's a piece they both assume I know that I don't....LOL!

I work with Web pages at work but I just edit them. If I create a new page or something I just put it on the drive for Web stuff and check it in. I wanted to go this route rather than a hand-held type of hosting with wizards for editing pages for my general betterment and the fact I want to eventually graduate up to paid hosting and a full blown site. Should I Google webhosting or something? (I guess I coulda done that before posting here)

You should try using a real ftp program rather then the one built into Dreamweaver 8. Many people that have had problems with it did not experience the problems once switched over to a real ftp client. A good free one that you can try is called SmartFTP and can be found at http://www.smartftp.com They also have tutorials on their site about how to use it if you are unfamiliar with FTP.

Hello again. I think I was just moving too quickly before because now my page is online...I forgot to name the index page "index" now that I've done that I have another slight issue. I think I have to create an images folder...does that in fact mean a new "directory" In Dreamweaver I created a images folder, put it inthe root folder and everything was showing up. I thought I uploaded everything as is to t35 but I guess not? If I create a subdirectory named "images" and put all the .jpg's and .gif's in it will the page look more like it does in my little sandbox at home?
