Hello,

do you have any idea on possible problems going on that prevent some users from access t35 free-web-hosting websites ??
The reason why I ask that is I'm not able to enter neither mine nor any other url on the form "http://username.t35.com" from the browser.  This is happening to me from some days ago.
On the other hand the access to the web space through the ftp login on www.t35.com seems to be ok.
For more information: the country I live in is Spain and I have tried it from a couple of different computers.

Any idea ?

Best regards.

that's strange. I know places in Brazil and China block T35 for some reason or another, and T35 blocks a few IP addresses because of abuse, but I've never heard of any problems coming from Spain before. Have you tried it using an computer with a different Internet Service Provider? It's possible that your ISP might be blocking T35; you could try contacting them about it.

I'm sure Alex will be able to give you a better answer once he sees this thread.

mpwhg .... chickenmeister is right, your country/isp is probably blocking our ip's. Let me know what your ip is (and traceroute if possible?) and I can look into it.

Hi,
problems keep on for me.

I've done the following:
- Trying from differents points and browsers. I annotated some IP's. However, I'm afraid the ISP was always the same as mine (which is the biggest in the country)
- I contacted my ISP and they said they aren't blocking T35...

Some of de IP's were:
site 1: [88.31.6.105]
site 2: [83.46.220.27]  <- cybercafe in neighbourhood
site 3: [10.71.184.113] (proxy: 213.0.43.165)

The result is always the expiration of the time-out and the 'unreachable' message.

Well, don'tknow if it all means something useful to you.

As a conclusive test is trying another isp, I'll manage to do that.

Regards.

you can try doing a traceroute to see where the connection fails. To do this, just go to Command Prompt (if you're using Windows), and enter the command "tracert demo.t35.com", and it will show you all the routers that your information packet passes through. It should look something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\AJ>tracert demo.t35.com

Tracing route to demo.t35.com [66.45.237.220]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  reshelm.mowrey.ship.edu [157.160.184.1]
  2   221 ms   203 ms   208 ms  gate.ship.edu [157.160.136.2]
  3   284 ms   330 ms   321 ms  172.27.61.2
  4   311 ms   287 ms   413 ms  border3.p4-1.compen-4.phi.pnap.net [216.52.66.233]
  5   366 ms   331 ms   298 ms  core6.ge0-0-0-bbnet1.phi.pnap.net [216.52.64.9]
  6   319 ms   299 ms   246 ms  acr1-so-6-1-0.Philadelphiaphy.savvis.net [208.172.19.169]
  7   294 ms     *      345 ms  cr1-loopback.nyr.savvis.net [206.24.194.70]
  8   322 ms   511 ms   317 ms  cr2-loopback.nyr.savvis.net [206.24.194.71]
  9   311 ms   308 ms   317 ms  204.70.197.9
 10   325 ms   278 ms   300 ms  208.174.224.134
 11   275 ms   284 ms   358 ms  ae-23-79.car3.NewYork1.Level3.net [4.68.16.69]
 12   333 ms   332 ms   304 ms  64.20.32.218
 13   285 ms   501 ms   317 ms  64.20.32.35
 14   371 ms   336 ms   302 ms  66.45.237.220

Trace complete.

Ok, this are a couple of tracert command reports executed from two different places:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Traza a la direccion demo.t35.com [66.45.237.220]
sobre un maximo de 30 saltos:
  1    85 ms    99 ms    99 ms  10.200.14.115
  2    98 ms    89 ms    99 ms  25.Red-81-46-15.staticIP.rima-tde.net [81.46.15.25]
3     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
4     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
(.....)
29     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
30     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.

Traza completa.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Traza a 66.45.237.220 sobre caminos de 30 saltos como m ximo.
  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  . [192.168.2.1]
  2    41 ms    41 ms    40 ms  192.168.153.1
  3    41 ms    42 ms    42 ms  113.Red-80-58-117.staticIP.rima-tde.net [80.58.117.113]
4     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
5     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
6     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
(.....)
29     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.
30     *        *        *     Tiempo de espera agotado para esta solicitud.

Traza completa.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess the problem is in that rima-tde.net; I've heard it is one of the hosts of the ISP. They had told me they weren't blocking access but this traces show that probem is really in their resources.

Thank you for your help.

Regards.

Yup.. looks like something on their end. You might want to double check with them? Just send them the traceroute and have them check it out.
