« on: May 04, 2011, 11:25:04 AM »
This is only happening with 2 pages, the foundation.html page and the priorupdates.html. the other pages will upload without error.

the error I am recieving is as follows:

Technical information for developers:

function ftp_writefile (/cp/cp/includes/edit.inc.php on line 80)
argument 0:
argument 1: /
argument 2: foundation.html
argument 3:

function edit (/cp/cp/includes/manage.inc.php on line 153)
argument 0: /
argument 1: foundation.html
argument 2:

All I am doing on each page is changing the upcoming events info on the left sidebar.

any info and/or help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Debbi

UPDATE:

I went ahead and completely redid both pages from scratch and tried again to upload thru My Computer straight to the t35 FTP. I recieved an error saying that foundation.html & priorupdates.html were forbidden filenames.

Huh?

I updated them in March in my DW CS4 and had uploaded them with no problems.

SO ANYHOW--

I renamed them to PHF.html and PU.html.  they uploaded fine today. I then updated all the links accordingly.

but now I cannot delete the 2 'offending' html files. So now I have 2 files that open up fine thru cpanel and opened up fine thru the links on my website, but cannot be updated thru cpanel nor uploaded from my computer via FTP because they are 'forbidden filenames' all of a sudden, and are pretty much wasting space now.

could you please delete the files in my root directory named:

foundation.html
priorupdates.html

I do appreciate it.

Thanks,
Debbi
