As long as you keep daily backups of your site, you will be able to upload it to your paid hosting account if you should ever upgrade.

Yes, it will be in tact. Paid hosting is offered on different servers though (better servers) with features like cPanel, etc.. So you would need to just ftp in and transfer over your files and you should be all set.
