need your feedback here. Plz, list at least 2 sites (can be forums, whatever) that are your best performers for a ratio

spended time on a site: traffic received back

As per my experience, For getting quick traffic you can use different social networking sites. Facebook and Stumbleupon are the best options for that.

also try to post in forums also. it will definitely increase website traffic. if you choose pr8 and pr9 websties to comment on, that can be helpful too.
