This is the deciding factor whether or not i sign up is the mysql built in to the server or is it like a myfreemysql.net/forum type deal or is it to the server which would be subdomain/forums and i need 2 for php hosting for php news... I think

At freemysql.net you can connect remotely from many locations, T35 being one of them - No one will know that you are using a remote database. Just set up your news system here at T35, then signup for a remote database and you'll be able to run your news system from T35, while connecting to the remote database.

I think that using databases connecting from a different server is kinda unsecure and not reliable.  Offering databases at T35

It is always much faster to host in the same datacenter at the least, but if you are in a position that you are unable to receive a MySQL database for your host then we have a wonderful solution.

Yes I wouldn’t place highly secretive or important documents on the remote MySQL server – but it is all what you feel is important/private.

As far as reliability our MySQL server has been up for over 13+ days straight and we have had less than 1 hour of down time in the last 60 days. The only issue at hand is the connection to the remote MySQL server.

It's not the code that's bad, it's the coder.
