I am very new at this and have a question. While signing on, I am prompted for a directory tree and I don't know what to enter.  I haven't uploaded any pages yet.  Please help!

What is asking you for that? You shouldn't need to enter any directory tree.

I was at ftp.t35.com.  Apparently, it wasn't prompting me for a directory but was just displaying a directory "/".  I clicked on New Directory, created one.  I then uploaded a web page from my files.  When I visit my new site - http://gjhfh.t35.com/ - I only see the names of my directory and file. I don't know what to do at this point.
Is there a tutorial available to walk me through all of the steps needed to get my site published?
