Hi

Have you returned to XP after using Vista? I know lots of people who have returned back to XP because they did not like Vista.

What about you?

I had to go back to XP because Vista  was not  compatible with 90% of my software.  And it  seemed to me that they are trying to hard with all of  those new bells and whistles.

Well now i'm using Vista and I'm very happy with it!
Many users find Vista strange or difficult, but with time it becames easy using and useful!
I've used XP too, Xp is really good, but I rather prefer the multimedia and features of Vista!

Viva Vista!

Ps: I'm also a Leopard (Mac) user...

Well, I have Vista and XP on my laptop, and moved back to XP on my laptop, but only because it's horrendous specs, 700MHz P3 and 256MB of RAM, way too little for Vista.  On my desktop, Vista FTW.  Works with all my hardware and software, and has a lot of new features, as well is a lot more secure.

You use Mac if you want to use the same 5 or 6 programs over and over again. I stay with the wonderful XP. We grabbed three computers with it and BOY OH BOY DOES IT FEEL GOOD.

I didn't want to use XP when it came out.  But it was all the came with the computer I bought a few years ago.  I like it now.  I think the main problem with Vista is that they didn't work out a lot of the bugs before going live, and like mentioned above it isn't compatible with a lot of stuff.  From what my friends have Vista would be great had it been all sorted first.  I just get sick of them changing everything completely every couple of years.  I wish they would leave things a little similar at least.

I don't see anything ingenious in Vista. It's pretty much the same as XP. I think it also depends how much you get used to it, and whether you let it affect you or not. You can start to think it's rubbish, just because you have heard it, and than you'll have a not so good experience with it. But if you push that aside, and just see it as another operating system software you will see it's really not that bad, minus all the features.
