That's depend on your needs. For normal user the home basic is enough.

I think Windows 7 Ultimate is best for everyone.I am also using this..

There are lots of raves about windows 7 but I am sticking to Windows xp. For me windows xp's system is better than the new system like vista. Easier to navigate and way easier to understand than other operating systems.
