Yahoo is nowhere close to Google. Whenever someone talks of search engine they say Google as they do not see yahoo as a search engine at all.

yahoo is a good search engine But I prefer Google because its newer inventions and analytic for web is great .

Google, because they provide services that are rare by other search engines. like they have now introduced new image search tool that will let you search images by an image.

However, Google is a more popular search engine... and as it focuses mainly on search, we can presume that it does that work quite well. From my personal experiences, i can tell that a search query in Google returns more important results than other search engines.
