Designing for SEO
« on: August 15, 2011, 12:40:57 PM »
I feel like my designs are becoming highly affected by SEO. For instance, I am starting design layouts with far fewer images.

Does anyone else feel like they are being limited by SEO? I know there are creative ways around all of this. Any thoughts or ideas?

Flash is attractive and makes your site jump out at the user. Yes it’s pretty awesome to look at. However, it’s not search engine friendly at all. You don’t entirely have to stay away from flash, but you need to know how to set your site up properly in order for it to be seo friendly.

Flash is attractive and makes your site are obvious to the user. Yes, it's quite impressive to see. However, it is not search engine friendly at all. Not everything has to stay away from flash, but you need to know how to set up your site properly to make it seo friendly.
