I was wondering where people get their pics for their websites from.  Does anyone get them from sources like photobucket and etc?  Are those copyrighted?  I am looking for ways to get free templates and also images.  As the sites that I am currently doing are only going to be like non-profit, entertainment sites.  I was thinking something like a Mad magazine website (making fun of stuff).

There are plenty of places to get pictures and lay outs,You can also make your own in any program like paint shop, photo shop ,photo impact, depending what kind of pictures your looking for ,you can Google something specific like"lake" or cottage by lake"

I use istock and big stock they are not free, but extremely cheap $1-2 dollars for a good quality web size image.

I usually search for specific object images or pictures then combine them to make a new one. It is much more easier if you already have a concept in mind.
