I've checked out the hotlinking page in cPanel, but do not understand how to ban hotlinking on only
http://www.tpgames.com/games/.../helillom/helillom.html
and
http://www.tpgames.com/games/.../helillom_planet.zip.

I know to list everything I want to allow hotlinking too, but that would mean a lot of files.

--> Should I try putting the specific stuff that I want to allow people to hotlink to in its own folder and then put the link to that folder?
For example, I do plan on having calendars that people can hotlink too for their livejournal  journals (which will only mean 5 people hotlinking), but I could put this in a folder named calendars. Then, in the hotlinking cPanel page, I would put
http://www.tpgames.com/games/.../calendar/calendar.html

--> Would I have to list every single file in this folder?

Any ideas or suggestions will be considered gold by me! Thanks in advance!

It's what you do when you are a webmaster. LOL

Try watching this:

As far as I understand, you can't protect only a certain file, but can specify which file types you want to protect. So in your case, I would enable hotlinking for zip's only.

Says forbidden, I don't have rights to access this on this server.

I just signed in to cPanel, so that might open up the demo for me. It didn't.
Thanks!

I think I got it solved though. I read the paragraph above the box wrong. My brain gave me its opposite meaning! Then, I didn't scroll down far enough, and completely missed the other box. I'm allowing image hotlinking, but not zip file hotlinking.

Consider this SOLVED.
Thanks!
