Is there anyway like to make a subdomain for someone and then have like a login thing so they can edit there website.

like for example. Im making one for my friend using my domain name. so hers would be like. http://hername.mydomain.com

is there a way i can give her like a login name and password and then she can edit it without having my main cpanel login name and password?

thankks for your help!

The best way would setup a FTP account pointing to the sub-domains location and give her the login info for FTP account and you'll be all set.

she would not have access to cpanel or anything like this, she would need to login by going to “ftp:// subdomain . your domain . com”   and login or use a FTP client like www.smartftp.com , which would be the better solution to use a FTP client.

Only your main ftp account would just be "username", any additional ftp accounts you create make the username in the format of subdomainusername@domain.com. Cpanel tells you the exact format when you create the addon domain. (I am not sure if it also tells you for subdomains --- I'm not sure if subdomains automatically have an ftp account assigned to it).
