I bought a personal hosting plan last night and entered a domain in the sign-up process that hadn't been registered yet.  I've now registered it, but I am wondering if it'll create any problems since it wasn't a registered domain when I signed up.  Thanks for any help ^_^

I don't think it will cause a problem since I think accounts are setup manually according to the information you provide.
