Memory Exhausted

I am now getting this fatal error, and my admin panel was working fine last night.


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home2/webmaste/public_html/blackwaterblog.com/wp-admin/menu.php on line 68

There is a 16M memory limit for a php process. I'm not sure why that script would need to use more than that?
