I am trying to setup an email account for SSL and it isn't working.

For the POP3 account I checked "Use SSL" and my email client automatically set Port 995 (instead of the normal 110) and then I left Password Authentication set.

The IMAP account uses port 993.

Am I doing something wrong, or is SSL not working?

Are you sure your firewall and/or ISP don't block that port? I know my internet provider at home blocks many ports and most work places block everything except 80 and a few others (definitely blocking 995).
