Author Topic: trouble logging into cpanel (Read 2052 times)

I received my welcome email on Tues 8 March 2011. I can not log into cpanel either from the temporary address sent to me, or from my domain. I am very new to having my own domain (have been using free T35 hosting for a few years), so I fully expect that it is operator error.

If I could get some additional direction or instruction it would be appreciated.

The error that I am receiving is (same error on my domain name):

The webpage at http://www.t35.com:2082/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 9 (net::ERR_UNEXPECTED): Unknown error.

I am copy and pasting my password, so I don't believe that it is a mistyping issue. In addition, I try to log in the first time and it bounces me back to the login screen. I try a second time, and then it show the error.

http://www.t35.com/cpanel/ is loading fine. Please double check that your firewall, router or ISP isn't blocking the cpanel ports. Also, make sure you're logging in with your username (whimsica) and the password sent in the welcome email. I have tried from several PC's and can login to your account from every single one. If you keep having difficulties, please open a ticket in our helpdesk since we can't paste your password in a public forum.

Thank you for the reply. I will continue working on this and will check my software and computer for settings that may be causing the site to be blocked.

If I continue to have troubles I will open a support ticket.

I'll help you out in the helpdesk, just open a ticket there to make sure I'm not pasting your password in a public forum.
