I just bought a new domain,

I want to switch the root domain to my new one and 301 or is it 302? Direct the old one to the new domain..

How to do it? Can I do it?

You can use either php or .htaccess from the following guide:

http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php

Alternatively, we can re-create your account with the new domain as the primary.

Do you still have the first email you got from us? That would have a subscription link. If you canceled the paypal subscription just use that link to re-establish it. If you wish I can change your primary domain without re-creating the account. The only downside is that your username won't change, but at the same time you won't need to save the databases, etc.. everything will be transfered over automatically.

You need to use a subscription link, not just send the payment. Please check for your original email. If you don't have the link please let me know and i'll send it to you.

My 301 worked but its really a halfed ass job,
I kept trying that 301 with .htaccess but there some errors. Firefox would say "the browser dected this page is directing in a manner that will never complete"
and it would go to url like this
facebookstuff.org/facebookstuff/facebookstuff/facebookstuff/facebookstuff/facebookstuff/facebookstuff/etc etc etc

Wordpress  has a file called canonical.php which will direct your site to a new url.
I believe this may be the conflicting problem against the .htaccess. So I just left a duplicate copy of the site in the root of domain and switched the domain to point to facebookstuff.org and that worked, buts its very sloppy at best.

I just check my keyword again and  facebookstuff.org ranks #1 for "facebook stuff" unbelivable..  :biggrin:and facebooknotes.info domain is still there but on page 3 or something.

Have any solutions I'm stumped with this...

I think I would like my root domain rebinded with "facebookstuff.org if you can do it.

Also I need some more domains, I used up all 10 addons.

I´m actually out of the country this week, but i´ll add the extra domains as soon as i´m back (in a few days).

If you want your domain changed as the main domain we would have to recreate the account.
