At the moment im on a free account but i want to go paid so i can have MySQL. However i would like to check some things out.

1) I was wondering if its possible to put scripts (namly the mysql connect ones) out side the folder the www.mydomain.com will link to

2) Is it possible just to pay for 1-2 months flat? I want to hvae a go with it and my parents wont pay for more then 1 month using there credit cards (im 16 and dont have a card of my own).

1. Yes, you can have files outside of "public_html" that will not be public.

2. Monthly billing is avaliable. Just remember to cancel the billing after 1-2 months so its not billed again.
