Yesterday i signed up for T35 free account and I was a bit dissapointed that it didn't support CGI.
I would now like to upgrade my account to a personal one, so i can use CGI. Is there any way i can keep my site but just pay to get the extra features.

Also I noticed with the paid account you have a limited bandwith and you have to buy your own domain names, whereas the free account it is unlimited and the domain is given you. huh Whats with that?!?

Domains are not provided on free hosting, and its unlimited because the more bandwidth you use, the more money we make from ads. On paid hosting, there are no ads so you pay yourself for the bandwidth you use. Most of the features of paid hosting won't work without a domain (email, fantastico, etc..) so you are required to purchase one. Paid hosting offers cpanel, so you need to sign up for a new account (we can't move over a non-cpanel account to cpanel).
