ok,with christmas coming around, i'v been offered to have a paid account bought for me(by family members), which i was planning on getting anyways, so I just need to clarify some things before I can buy.

1.i'm currently on a free account, and i was wondering how/if I could upgrade to paid account from my current account, or would I have to create a new account on paid?

2.it says i get unlimited mysql databases, i'm guessing that means that the mysql DB comes with paid account and that anything on it counts as part of my 300mb?

3.i read that if i bought a paid account i wouldn't be able to stay with fdxcrew.t35.com and i'd have to buy something like www.MYDOMAIN.com? if this is true can i buy it straight from t35 or would i have to find a site that i can buy it from? if i can buy it from t35 how much is it and where do i buy it?

thanks in advance

1. You would need to create a new account, if needed we can help you transfer the files over.

2. That is correct, but you can have as many databases as you want (as opposed to most other companies that limit that number).

3. You would need a domain name to use most of the features of paid hosting (email, stats, fantastico), so we pretty much require that you buy one. We used to sell them, but since we can't price it below cost like some other comapnies are now doing, we are not selling them anymore. Places like godaddy.com and ev1servers.net are selling them for around $7/year... defintly a worth while investment.

sorry, i got another question, i would have edited my above post but i wasn't sure if it would say it's a new reply and there-for no1 would notice it,  but anyways. I just found out today, that he is(before i wasn't 100% sure weather he was going to pay it for me or not) going to give me the money to get paid(and it's up to me to figure out how i'm paying XD) but with me living in canada i'm sure those prices would change do to currency, if so do you know how much it would cost me if i paid by year (the 300mb package.) like i said before i live in canada.

thanks
