Alex, can you set the mime type for jnlp files to application/x-java-jnlp-file again please?

maybe try doing a trace route to see how close you can get to connecting...

1. In Windows (not sure about other OSs) click Start and then Run...
2. Type in "cmd" without the quotes and click OK
3. In the new command line window, type "tracert petergay.t35.com" without the quotes and press enter

This will list all the routers your packets visited and probably where they stop. Copy what it gives you (right click inside the window and choose Mark, then highlight the text you want to copy, then right click on the highlighted area to copy) and paste it here.

http://petergay.t35.com/PohakuPao03/nth-d03.html (your first link) works fine for me.

I've had problems with AOL connecting to free t35 in the past. I think AOL might be blocking them. Maybe contact them about it.

Where are you located in the world? Some countries/ISPs block free hosting sites like t35. Do other t35.com sites work for you (e.g. http://chickenmeister.t35.com )?

It works for me. Of course, you have no index page, so it just lists the files in that directory. But I can see/access those files

http://petergay.t35.com/PohakuPao/2004.bmp
http://petergay.t35.com/PohakuPao/2005.bmp
http://petergay.t35.com/PohakuPao/al.bmp
http://petergay.t35.com/PohakuPao/ar.bmp
etc...

Is this how it is for you? Were you expecting something differrent? Or what happens when you try to go to http://petergay.t35.com/PohakuPao/ ?

Alex,

I know the making-a-backup-process isn't all that complicated, but maybe it would be a good idea to have like a one-click button that explicitly says "create backup" on the control panel that would create a zip file to download.

Also maybe it would be a good idea to have like an email reminder service, where by t35 could send out emails on a regular basis (e.g. monthy) reminding people to create a back up. It should be opt-in, of course.

You may also be able to recover a lot of pages from search engine caches.
For example, with Google, just search for cache:yoursite.com

Ouch! This one hurts, bad.
I don't have any recent backups. Though it's my own dumb fault.  embarassed  huh

How can so much hardware fail at once?

Have you all tried out the Google Chrome browser? I think it's pretty slick, although a little too basic/minimalistic to be my normal browser.

By "non-webpages," I mean things like images, zip files, and whatnot.
