Hi.  I wonder if someone here can help me with what is quite possibly a problem with a very simple solution.

I have several folders located in my free hosting account with T35.  Each folder contains a website.

There are three folders that no longer contain any files.  Each of the folders has a name.

The first is simply named 'a'.  The second 'aromatherapy',  The third 'asthma'.

I would like to delete these folders.

When I try to delete using FTP (Filezilla or Smart FTP) the process fails.

If I log in to my account and try locating them that way, I am aslo told that the folders cannot be deleted as they may still contain files.

I have opened all three folders just to check.  I already know that they were empty.

Sure enough, they contain nothing.

So, why can I not delete them?

I realise that I could just leave them sitting there doing nothing, but I would just like to keep the account and its filder structure tidy and organised.  After all, surely I should be able to delete folders and/or files that are no longer required?

Can anyone suggest what may be the problem here.

Incidentally, other folders still full of files delete successfully.  So why not these?

Any advice gratefully received.
