NP, and thanks for the speedy re-activation of my website,  just let me know if you have trouble getting the payment.

On a separate issue, I now need to figure out how to change my primary email to from the @julian.li to my main @yahoo.com email so that if any issues happen in the future, i can respond, as currently I dont use the julian.li email very often.

Called them and updated the information. Looks like because I was issued with a new AMEX card (new expiry date) that the 2CO.com ystem was not updated with the new date and so billing could not happen

Anyway its updated and I called them, they said it will be billed to t35 at midnight. Can you activate my account now please.

5  T35 Hosting Support / Paid Hosting General Support / taking 5 mins to access your smtp server to send email....why? on: October 11, 2006, 01:32:19 PM

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.julian.li', Server: 'mail.julian.li', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 Too many concurrent SMTP connections; please try again later.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its taking 5 mins to access the smtp server to send a email, why dont you increase the amount of connections allowed for paid users?

The email eventually sent about 5 minutes later. If I try to send using the exact same  settings using my isp's smtp mail server, its instantaneous.

Alex, Brett

Please respond, Ive just sent about 4 emails in the last  3 days and got totally ignored.

My site is now shutdown for the 2nd time this month due to your error at setting me at 62 gigs.

Can I get some compensation in the form of more bandwidth for these 2 long downtimes.

Certain months we wave bandwidth limits (if for instance we had some down time)... so that might explain the 62gb in march. I have you officially on 50gb.. but shoot me an email .. i might be able to raise that to 60gb free of charge (I am not sure if that would help at your current rate though.. you are using around 100-120gb/mo at the rate you were going the last few days).

On Jan 31st 2006 email title "RE: help - very urgent, my paid site is current exceeding
bandwidth"

You wrote:

Julian,

You have not yet signed up for the $50/month subscription, correct? 70gigs
would be $25/mo.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can I please just get what was agreed in this email in Jan 31st please. I can forward your email back to you if you want to verify as it contains the whole discussion we had over this.

Hi Alex,

In march 2006 I used 62.77 gig, so this definitely means I have atleast 62 gig.

I asked in this forum on Aug 27th what my bandwidth is, but got no reply to this from you, see this post (reply #6)
http://www.t35.com/forums/index.php?topic=2031.0

Can you please confirm what my actual bandwidth is and adjust it, this is really urgent.

Thanks

So it's working now? I don't believe you can't edit that basic guestbook cgi script... You might want to consider some of the more advanced scripts.

Thanks Alex the guestbook is back to normal now, I think you are right in that i cant edit it, the more advanced scripts i dont think i can embedd into my gallery pages like what im currently doing so, i think i need to just stick with the current one and hope no one ever hacks into it again

Ok another thing, Im on a 50 (or 60??) gig/month Custom plan for $20 usd, why I am getting the below email messages when Ive only used up 8 gig? I got this message last month and emailed you about it and got no reply, could you help me out please because this month its happening again?

11  T35 Hosting Support / Paid Hosting General Support / t35.com, and my website has been hacked on: August 24, 2006, 06:46:52 PM
My site has been hacked and Ive finally replaced most of my files, I left one page intentionally unfixed so that people can see what the hackers did

http://julian.li/singapore  I will be replacing this shortly I now have 2 questions

1. Theyve hacked my entropy guestbook, and I cant seem to find a copy of it to edit it, so now everytime someone signs the guestbook, my guestbook pops up with swear words and anti american and israel messages. Please tell me how to get to my guestbook to edit it.

2. I want to know why there wasnt a daily backed copy to immediately replaced the hacked data? I work for a multinational we do daily system backups and I expected this to be the case, especially, since Im paying 20 usd a month for it.
As it stands its been about 12 hours and Ive listed a few sites by alphabetical order hosted by t35.com that are still hacked and waiting for the users to go fix it themselves, I could have listed all 400 from A to Z.

Hi Amelan,

Im stewing over this decision as I dont make photo updates that often.

Lets say if I do go ahead with the upgrade, do I have to appy for it all over again via the website ie pay $150 usd or will you auto bill me the difference in plans, ie $100 usd? I believe you still have my amex card details right?

Also need to clarify regarding bandwidth measuring, even though I joined in mid december, will my bandwidth quota be reset after the start of each month, or is it after every 30 day of hosting? which assumption is correct?

ie  do I get 8 gig to use from mid dec to january 1st?
14  T35 Hosting Support / Paid Hosting General Support / Bandwidth on: December 31, 2005, 02:22:57 PM
Hi Amelan,

Ive opened my new photo gallery and as such Ive just used about 30% of my months Bandwidth in 1 day! shocked

Can I ask about what happens when I reach my 8 gig limit? do I need to pay in advance for more bandwidth or will you tell me how much  I need to pay after the bandwidth has been used?

PS how much does more bandwidth cost?
