1  T35 Hosting Support / Free Hosting General Support / Re: Unable to upload a small pic on: November 04, 2006, 07:25:03 AM
New problem now... I am trying to upload a 179kb picture named img001.jpg... I've tried

many times but the same thing keep happening again. I click upload, selected the file,

click on the green tick then it ask me to log in so I insert pass then the page came out

without the file uploaded, no error message seen.
That happened to me too. They told me to download an FTP client instead of using web login, and it worked. I recommend http://www.smartftp.com

3  T35 Hosting Support / Free Hosting General Support / Someone trying to get credit for my site on: October 31, 2006, 10:44:29 AM
I have worked very hard on my site (and its still unfinished) so I submitted it to a couple of search engines. I went back in a few days to chweck if it was in them yet, so I searched my sites URL. I didn't find my site, but I so an entry in a forum. It was someone trying to get credit for my site. They said that it was the site they use for testing things, but its not, they have nothing to do with it, that was my site their talking about, and their trying to get credit for my work

My site seems to be going slower than usual. Sometimes, parts (usually images, but sometimes even stylesheets) even fail to load
5  T35 Hosting Support / Free Hosting General Support / Re: cannot upload files with the name including "~exec~". on: October 24, 2006, 10:09:33 AM
I cannot change the file names darely because many other files require the exec files.

The uploading of the files used to be ok before...
in that time I could upload them without any problem.
My suggestion would be to try downloading an FTP client instead of using the web manager. I recommend http://www.smartftp.com

Can you take a screen shot. I haven't been able to see what you're talking about.

9  T35 Hosting Support / Free Hosting General Support / Re: cannot upload files with the name including "~exec~". on: October 22, 2006, 07:00:18 AM
I tried to upload some files.

"admin_exec_~~.php"
"admin_exec_~~.php"

like these.

But the net2ftp says that the filename is forbidden.

So I cannot upload them.

It had been ok before.

I have to upload them.

Help me, please.

2. And, there are 30 seconds limited executing time on net2ftp.

Could you increase the execution time?
You could try downloading an FTP client instead
10  T35 Hosting Support / Free Hosting General Support / FTP problem on: October 20, 2006, 08:20:54 AM
I think theres something wrong with the FTP server.

I logged onto my account, and then tried to upload an image to my site, and then when I clicked upload it went back in the login page.

I tried again, but it happened again, and then I tried again... and again... and again... but it just keeps happening

Please try to fix the problem as soon as possible

Thanks!

I recently experimented with a PHP script (the one used to submit forms). I replaced the "path/to/your/file.dat" with mailto:[My e-mail address] to see if it would work. But it created a file called mailto:[My e-mail address] instead, even though its impossible to have a file with that name, and it won't let me delete it

Its just a directory index, and both pages are either errors, or just blank.

I have been with T35 for a few days now and I have seen how good it is already. On a scale of 1 to 10, i'd give it:
10
I don't understand why people complain.

The unmetered space is a good way to make up for the ads
There is a forum which actually works, and you get an almost immediate reply
My site doesn't go down too much compared to some other hosts
The FTP is quite good
Really cool templates. I don't use them but they would be great to someone else
The ads don't mess up your site (some other ones actually messed up the top of my page

And thats why I recommend T35 hosting  smiley

The URLs are good too, because T35 only contains three characters (compare yourname.t35.com with yourname.somewebhost.com)
