I have started a forum using smf, it is a real piece of jewel. Light weight, fast and feature packed. And most of all, it is free.

You can take a look => [link removed] - please do not advertise your site outside of the review/promotion forums. - dWhite

I have been using http://tradeworlddomains.com/pagerank

It gives you back links, page rank, alexa rank, msn/yahoo search results.

That's what we call a nice tool.

You want to know how many back links your site got?

google link:http://yousite.com

That does the job.
Note: Back links determine your page rank. It is like a vote in your favour to your site.

Reviews are meant to be positive and negative. Appreciate whatever is given dude.

It is only the start. And it is a good start wherever you have come to. I have been rather lame, building websites. But, I am learning how to do it properly.

Your concept is good, I appreciate it. You must see the colours. Try to change them. I suggest you use brighter colours

You should control your content. It is like, restrict them to an area. I have noticed, the "http://www.facebooknotes.info/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/pensionbookbig.gif" image overlaps the area. It makes it look dirty.

Maybe, you should have made a script to make it become thumbnail. That would be better.

Reviewing some apps, would be a plus for the site. I know you don't have the patience. For the love you could do it. Cheesy

The layout is clean, and comprehensive. I like the way you presented your banner. It rotates. That's truly sweet. The menus are well defined and shows you what you are selecting. Thus, we are not like "lost"

I believe that everything is perfect. What is required is that you build on whatever you have already done. I will give you 9/10. Why not 10? It is to make you work harder and be better.  tongue

"mailto" incites the web browser to open up the email client (Microsoft outlook|Mozilla Thunderbird for example).

It would be wise to have a script as mentioned by ragtek or code one. It will have the exact parameters, so all the required information will be compiled and emailed to you.

I think, it is better to own a server. It is more flexible and with time it will become less expensive to maintain. I mean, less expensive if optimised properly. This will allow you to run server intensive processes. These processes in shared environment kills the whole server, and loads of people suffer. Sad

Security is a major issue nowadays. The PS3 is becoming "fearable". Alongside with linux, it has a great hacking potential. Protecting ourselves in many ways is the only thing we can think of.
