1  General / General and Business Discussion / Re: what browser? on: February 10, 2008, 09:06:09 AM
I use firefox most.

But I also use IE7 and Netscape Naogator 9. Why?
Because I am behind a firewall in the campus.. so i use proxy softwares like YF and US so i distribute one-one as..

FF >> General
IE >> Proxy with YF
NN >> Proxy with US

Isn't that good idea? I think NN9 is 99% same as FF and very nice alternative if you want 2 FF  at the same time cool

I think Hackers will be as long as technologies will be coming.
There must be cyber crime acts in each and every country. You can't do anything if in hacker's country there is no rule, nobody is responsible though.

ICANN or other authorities should take some actions about the hacking in each and every countries having Internet. This is the only solutions as per as countries are concerned.

You can even buy domains at cheaper rates.
GoDaddy is the greatest that's the catch about.

You can go for NetFirms >> $5.95 or name.com >> $5.99 for 1st year.
You can also get at approx $7.5 at many more registrars.

Thanks

I agree to the free hosting for beginning. Starting a website is always a risk for beginners. So better to go for a free if you will drive less traffic. But as soon as you starts getting traffic, you must change to a better service. My suggestion is to go for well known hosting companies rather than starters if you start getting revenue from your site.

Thanks

I am using adsense for a less period. but it is satisfactory. there is no other trusted and easy option than  this. One more thing I have seen a post saying Adsense doesn't has CPM.. it has for the image ads displayed on your site. i have got some money once which didn't came from click.

Hello there,

I own a domain csmia.com (currently hosting at my friend webspace)
I am curious if it can potentially be valuable.

What do you think about this domain? What kind of sites are suitable for this domain name? Can you imagine how much it will be worth in 3 or 4 years time from now?

Thanks,

As per the quest of 3-4  years.. it will surely make some more $$ for you. coz when LLLL.com will be finished it will make some sense and LLLLL.com will be the priority Smiley

P.S.  I signed up for the Google webmaster tools dashboard, but I don't see where it allows you to see the number of hits.  I am interested in seeing the breakdown in the number of hits on my various pages.

You can use Google Analytics www.google.com/analytics . Here you can keep track of your visitors in many aspects
