Yes www.FreeMysql.net is still a go. The current down time is a result in a few “hacker-proof” tests. We took the server offline for this, and we had someone try to hack into our server, and he was unsuccessful.

The site will go online tomorrow, as for public MySQL signups, we are looking for this to happen at the end of the month.

We have just decided to wait until the end of the month, for those that seen the new design that’s great, we hope you liked it. Please be patient while we update everything.

Easy anough, first since you are on free hosting you have to decide if you want a flatfile forum or Database forum.

Database would probaly be easier for you if your new to installing a forum.

So lets start off with database phpBB forum:

1. First go to www.hotsql.com and open a MySQL account there, then save the email you get from them that has all the information on it.
2. Go to www.phpbb.com and download the phpBB.zip file. After you do that extract all the files to a blank folder on your comp.
3. Now go into your FTP Account and upload the first few files. After you upload the first few files from the folder you can begin to create the directorys and upload the files that belong in each directory to them.
