Hi guys,
This just popped up in my google alerts, so I thought I'd reply directly. The reason that the ip was blocked is that some time in the past, there was some form of social engineering attack hosted there, and also, the IP has also been pinged multiple times for phishing. Normally, for phishing and social engineering attacks, we only block the exact domain that's causing the problem, but this one had appeared so often that it had tripped over to an IP block. For a free web hosting service, this is understandable, if regretable. We've now removed the IP block and it will propagate in the next set of dat releases, as soon as it clears QA.
So, sorry about the IP block, but the malware world moves so very quickly on the web, and when we find and IP that keeps recurring, we try to err on the side of protecting our users until someone shows us that all is well.
Btw, we were only notified about the IP block issue today, and we removed it immediately. When did you lodge the issue with support?
Cheers
