1  General / General and Business Discussion / Re: Another fun email from Google Adsense on: June 03, 2008, 07:06:05 PM
Adsense is an ultra-sensitive program no doubt.  You r e a l l y have to make sure you cross your I's and dot your T's.  And even then you still really never know!  Do you see any cause for this letter from Google or do you have no idea why they sent it to you??

3  General / How To's & Tutorials / Re: Internet Business acronyms on: May 22, 2008, 12:10:50 AM
I definitely didn't know quite a few of these myself.  A lot of webpreneurs make the mistake of using these acronyms in their marketing without remembering that many people have no idea what most of these technical terms stand for...especially if they're new to Internet marketing.  It's great that you've defined them here.  Thanks for this reference list! smiley

5  Web Design & Developement / Useful Resources / My Favorite Linkcloaker is... on: May 12, 2008, 04:31:20 PM
URLFreeze

I really like this linkcloaker because first off it's free - which is a plus (there's also a paid upgraded version if I need to take advantage of it).  You can hide/cloak any affiliate link and track how many hits you get and where your traffic is coming from.  I also like the fact that even on the free version you can include titles & metatags which is a great SEO-search engine optimization tactic.  I highly recommend URLFreeze as a useful valuable tool for serious affiliate marketers.  Especially if you want to protect your comi$$ions!
6  General / Website Reviews / Re: SpitUrl! Turn those long urls into short ones on: April 30, 2008, 12:30:20 PM
Hey I like it and the name is catchy wink  I thought I heard of basically all of the url shorteners - but this is the first time I've come across SpitURL.  Nice page color scheme, quick link spitout, pretty cool.  One question:  Does this track clicks too?

13  Revenue & Traffic / Ad Revenue / Re: How does "Google Adsense for mobile" work ??? on: April 30, 2008, 12:45:30 AM
Basically the same as it works on the Internet.  Webmasters who own their own websites program their sites to be mobile compatible.  When it's mobile compatible Google can then display mini 'pay-per-click' ads on websites that phone users visit.  Due to the nature of the small phone space that these ads are in - most likely phone users are tempted to click them.  I have Internet on my  cell phone and I've been compelled to click myself...so I know it works!
14  Revenue & Traffic / Ad Revenue / Re: Adsense VS Adbrite comments on: April 30, 2008, 12:36:14 AM
I haven't tried adbrite yet, although I've heard about them and briefly reviewed their website.  I've been currently concentrating on Adsense with satisfactory re$ults.  I'm fairly new with Adsense and have earned over $200 within the past 2 months!  Not bad if I shall say so myself.  If I find out more about adbrite though I'll let you know.
