3  General / Web Hosting Forum / GoDaddy - Site Builder on: December 26, 2007, 01:17:00 AM
One of my sites is with GoDaddy, and its fine. The only thing is I find that using their Site Builder is such slow process I pretty avoid going back and doing what needs to be done on the site.

I use Internet Explorer, and every once in a while I have to shut the whole machine down and start all over again. Generally, I don't have problems with other sites or with doing things like setting up blogs.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the slowness (and sometimes "error-laden") Site Builder process with GoDaddy and whether anyone uses other hosting places that offer a less challenging Site Builder.

8  Revenue & Traffic / Search Engine Optimization / New Site - The Basics Beyond Just Up and Running on: December 26, 2007, 01:07:44 AM
For a person who starts a new website and has it up and running, what else needs to be done? Are there - like - three or four basic steps that a person needs to take beyond just hitting "publish"?
9  Revenue & Traffic / Search Engine Optimization / The Finer Points of SEO? on: December 26, 2007, 01:06:56 AM
I understand, generally, SEO. Still, I'm not confident that I'm really using it as effectively as I could be. There's just something about my approach that I'm thinking may be lacking.

Are there any "finer points" when it comes to keywords? Is there something beyond just using the few individual words and then those same words in a phrase?

In terms of tags, is more always better? How many keywords, on average, does anything new?
10  Revenue & Traffic / Search Engine Optimization / "Keyword Dense" - The Difference? on: December 26, 2007, 01:06:35 AM
When people advertise for web content articles they often ask for someone to write, "keyword dense" articles. I've always kind of assumed that anyone writing for the web will just kind of automatically know to write "keyword dense" articles.

When people say "keyword dense" do they mean super-loading the article - and at what point does that go from being just "keyword dense" to being kind of spammy? Are there percentages involved with "dense"?
