Well, I created a MySQL database.

Problem is, I don't know how to connect to it. No where did I read a hostname.

I'm trying to set up my company's website; and it requires MySQL.

I'm not with free hosting. And you don't have to respond to me like I'm an idiot. =]

I'm alot of advanced. [Lol, English] I just don't know where to find my database's hostname...

I don't want to use localhost.

Localhost wont allow a remote computer to connect to my database.

What hosting company are you going through? Unless your hosting off your own computer, localhost is pretty much the standard MySQL hostname for hosting companies.

T35 paid hosting uses localhost or 127.0.0.1 as the mysql hostname. At least thats what I use.

I know...

Again...

Local host wont work...

If you're trying to get a remote connection going on.

Trying to host a server, which uses a MySQL Database. And... I need the host name.

Localhost wont work, cause the server isn't on the same machine as the database is on...

Understand now?
