I think that PHP email forms should be able to work on freehost because let say someone has a form or phpBB forum and they want an email acctivation it would'nt work cause you would get an error or somethin' so I think it should be aloud... although i'm upgradin' to paid soon anough it does'nt realy matter Smiley

You can use your own SMTP server for sending mail out on the server. Most ISP's give you it when you get an internet account with them. There are also plenty of free smtp providers on the net. We allowed email before and it was not a very good experience. If you personally volanter to pay for the legal fees involved with allowing email on free hosting, I will put it up right away. As an estimate, it would probobly involve a good $50,000 in costs just defending T35 in court, not counting any fees associated with court losses. (It also doesn't count the extra server load of running a mail server).

Yeh.. most of the features that we have dissabled are dissabled because people abused them when we had them. And although its not fair to punish everyone for the actions of few, we can't take the risk to bring them back without suffering huge financial losses that would result in the end of the free hosting service.

Sorry, but I say there can't be email.  I agree with amelen.  If you want a high-storage email account get one somewhere like Gmail or Yahoo.  Besides, unlimited storage for emails isn't realistic.  If T35 had it, no one would ever have to delete a single email message.  This would mean that T35 would have to sacrifice terabytes of hard drive space just to accomediate for the email service.

Not only that, but there would be problems of people sending viruses, mail bombs, spam from our server which woould get us into lots of trouble.

Isn't there some sort of guy/girl that moniters for abuse? It could be much better for t35 instead of reciving much abuse to moniter and ban, or warn, abusing members?
