File size limit was recently increased from 250kb to 500kb.. and already we are seeing 10 times more abuse... At this rate I don't see another increase in the near future.

As for ftp.. it has been discussed before.. but every extra 30secs that a user is connected, it uses extra ram. So if the idle time out is increased a few minutes, and we allow 100 consecutive logins, the added load on the server would be in terms of gigs of ram.
