You will see the first link and second link is without the blue. Why?

The code:

<!--BEGIN COLUMN 2-->                                          <!--BEGIN COLUMN NUMBER 2-->
  <tr>
    <td class="nav_btnOff" onmouseover="className='nav_btnOn'" onmouseout="className='nav_btnOff'">

<br>
<img src="http://www.tpgames.com/MainPublicTP/images/nav_p03.gif" alt="" height="8" width="218">
<br>
<a href="http://www.tpgames.com/kyt/childrensstories/childrens.html"> Children's Stories Main Page </a><br>
<br>
<img src="http://www.tpgames.com/MainPublicTP/images/nav_p03.gif" alt="" height="8" width="218">
<br>
<p> The first book written in the series, but is chronologically, out of order. </p>

<a href="http://www.tpgames.com/kyt/childrensstories/peterandleah/peterandleah.html"> The Peter and Leah Story </a><!--.-->
<img src="http://www.tpgames.com/MainPublicTP/images/nav_p03.gif" alt="" height="8" width="218">

Okay, that's the code. The original problem turned out that the css code between the button on and off was not the same.  Thanks! grin

I found the error. It turns out that the <p> tags were causing the issue. I took the <p> tags out and this got rid of the quilt effect. Thanks!
