The same thing that happened to Free ISPs, Even NetZero is only giving away 10 hours of free dial up service that would be enough for a small email account.

The model that once was is gone.

It is very hard to support a free service, you should be proud that you are still around.

You're right... Netzero always looked like they would be offering a free service forever. Then I remember one day I went to their site and all of a sudden it was now $9.99/month. I still think they offer free internet, but the amount of ads they show has gone up and they only allow you to use it 10 hours/month.

It is observed that some of largest free hosting sites such Geocities and NetZero are giving away an average of 10 hours of free dial up service.

At any time paid hostings are the best.. I have been using paid hostings for years and have faced no problem...

Web domains. Hosting. Content. These are the three top priorities for any webmaster, regardless of how experienced they are. Unfortunately, these three essentials often leave people in the dark, as there are dozens of companies offering the “same” packages for different prices

Trying to identify a web host can be a very daunting task especially when there are so many available nowadays and all of them promise one thing or another because looking for and buying a reliable web hosting solution is an imperative decision.

I have been using Which Hosting - Hosting Reviews  for such kind of evaluations... i often get confused of what to choose and why to choose.... happy  hostings.. have a great time :)

So what is wrong with free web hosting?
Well, they can ruin your plans especially when you are in a very tight budget. Imagine setting up your goals with free web host on your side, then waking up one day that the free web host provider is closing down for no reason. It can leave you hanging.

In free hosting, there were restrictions like they used to show their ads on your site or if you won't get this many users per month, the account is over. Well now all the information can be shared on free blogs, so people tend to go less towards free hosting. Blogs are also iPhone and Android touch phone friendly.

It is very limited by what features you have available to you. Free hosting environments can at times be beneficial to those only wanting a very simple website, no frills, more or less a personal one-page website.

Thanks for sharing this information, i think free hosting has disappeared because marketers are becoming more sophisticated. Free hosting seemed to come with a catch. For example, you have to display advertising. Godaddy offers free hosting to existing customers but no sane commercial website would choose that option: you have to accept advertising.

So what's the out place of this forums, do not follow free hosting. Spends some used from your pocket and fancy your hosting, with sensible and higher way forward for our website.

I suppose nothing last forever no matter how good it is. 110mb is still alive, a free hosting with limited features. Free hosting might be good for practicing, testing campaigns but not for hosting a business site.

We provide high quality original content for as low as $0.006/word ($3 per 500 words)
