One of my sites is with GoDaddy, and its fine. The only thing is I find that using their Site Builder is such slow process I pretty avoid going back and doing what needs to be done on the site.

I use Internet Explorer, and every once in a while I have to shut the whole machine down and start all over again. Generally, I don't have problems with other sites or with doing things like setting up blogs.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the slowness (and sometimes "error-laden") Site Builder process with GoDaddy and whether anyone uses other hosting places that offer a less challenging Site Builder.

Yah I first started out with sitebuilder but found the processus horrendous to figure out and work. I just gave up on it and moved on to dreamweaver and the like. I would suggest anyone to learn how to properly code their website rather then using the godaddy utility, you'll learn more and your website will look better, feel better and you'll learn something in the process.
Only use the utility if you have no idea how to use it and you want a quick job done fo your website.

The sitebuilder is great if you have no idea about html or php, but with simply knowledge in those you can do better without it .

I'm not with GoDaddy though I was tempted. I ended up going with BlueHost instead. However, I do have SiteBuild on another host but I've never used it as I prefer to handcode - gives me more control that way.

WebStar, could you possibly get a different browser like Firefox or something, or perhaps get in touch with GoDaddy as they may have a solution.

I used Godaddy once, i was impressed! I got a domain with hosting for pretty cheap, cant remember the exact price as it was about a year ago, but i like how their site is laid out, and how easy it was for me to set up a site using an FTP client.
