My website has come a long way since I last asked for opinions/reviews. When I last asked for opinions, it was pretty dull, and I was fairly new to things like html and php.

But I'm still not an expert or anything, and that's where ya'll come in. I'd appreciate it if you could look at my site, and point out the errors of my ways, and/or the things you like about it, and/or any feedback at all would be great.

Looks good! Coded everything yourself? That's pretty impressive! The site looks more like a professional site/script like wordpress then something someone coded!

thanks.
yeah, well it didn't all happen at once. It's almost always been a work in progress. There's not a week that goes by where I don't find something to improve. Whether it be adding CAPTCHAs, creating a website text editor so that I can quickly change something on my site, or something simple like changing the font size or color, there's almost always something that I can find wrong or improve.

Easy to navigate, and a good layout.

However, the bright white on a black background is kind of harsh on the eyes. Maybe try a different shade of white ?

You have a nice blog there.  The only thing I would change is the colors.  You have white text on a black background (on the left sidebar).  However I do like the black background, but it may be easier to read if you had it black text on a white background.

You have good content (interesting as well), good design, and you coded it yourself!  Good job.
