I think this site wasn't optimized for a 1680x1050 screen. The content has all gone to the right side (making it look cropped) & there is one sole image of a model walking the ramp on the extreme left of the screen, which changes on each refresh, by the way. Or did you want this placement?
I haven't been to a lot of fashion sites, (maybe FTV in my pre-adolescent years

) so I really can't say much on your website, aesthetically. Your website seems fine to me. However, from a designer point of view:
° The Favicon you got "
ff", that's for Fashion Fame right? But I don't see it in your logo or even related to it.
ff is in italics & a script font. Your logo is not.
° Remove the bling, emboss, inner shadow, background texture you have on your favicon & logo. Gives a very amateurish feel to a nice website.
° I don't like the font you have used in Designers, Celebrities. Not in consistency with the other fonts on the site. Also, why the image behind Fashion Weeks but not behind the other 3 topics?
° Let me show how many fonts you have used on your site:
1. Logo
2. Content
3. Quick Links
4. Latest Headline Images
5. Editor's Picks
6. Visit our sponsors X 2
That's like 7 fonts! You would have done absolutely with just 2 fonts, at the most.
° The bullet points of Categories (square cross-hair) is different from the bullet points of Most Viewed (Heart which change to squares on hover).
° You have also used Green, Purple & Brownish colors on the website. So many colors aren't necessary.
° Content wise, it looks good & if I was a girl, I'd surely be jumping in glee. I must point that your images are very good!
TECHNICAL:
° When we zoom in to the max, there is no scroll bar at the bottom so now you cannot see either side.
° The site overlaps the said image on the left.
° The Page Speed Score was : 72/100
To improve:
* Combine external JavaScript +
* Leverage browser caching
* Parallelize downloads across hostnames
* Serve static content from a cookieless domain +
* Specify image dimensions
* Combine images into CSS sprites
* Minify CSS
* Minimize DNS lookups
* Prefer asynchronous resources
* Remove query strings from static resources
* Remove unused CSS +
* Use efficient CSS selectors
(Haven't seen a 100/100 score on any page. + : Even Google has these problems, so you can ignore them).
You have a W3C validator link at the bottom, however, you still got
21 Errors, 17 warnings. (Google got 41 errors, so you are waaay much better off).
These may not affect the average user in any way, but might affect your site page rank wise, etc.
Overall, I did like your site.

This was a very lengthy review

. Lol, hope you weren't bored & hope you'll find my review useful in some way (if you read all of it, that is haha).
Best of luck for your site.
Cheers,
